Trick or Treat

Halloween is just around the corner. And with all the festivities come the candy, great dessert ideas and creative ways to bring the Halloween ghost and goblins to life! Here are a few of my favorite things..

Easy OWL-ween treats! These look yummy! I want to try these.

I made these a couple years ago...can't remember where I got this idea from...but those spiders are trix cereal with frosting for the legs...the kids loved this! The cookies are just chocolate cookies with frosting on top.

How cool is this drink cooler? I attempted to make this one year for a party, but it had quite a few steps to it and I didn't have the time~ I think I might have to try this! 

Candy Corn Cup Cake Stand from Pure Joy Events

Halloween Ribbon Wreath love the simplicity of this...of course if you have a black door you could try this with orange ribbon!

Love all the Green in this Halloween dessert bar! And the candelabra with the cupcakes is too cute!

Sip and See Truck Baby shower

I had such a sweet time planning and setting up this sip and see shower for some very dear clients. Two very appreciative sissy's...I love working with sissys!!!! They threw it for their sissy who just had a little boy about a couple months ago. I was so honored to be asked to be a part! The desserts were from LA Boulangerie, a fabulous French Bakery, very traditional one that I would enjoy visiting weekly (I don't have that luxury of extra time to do so, but I wish I did!) And everything else was by SugarPalooza of course:) Enjoy and go throw a party!

Retro Surf Party

So just yesterday I had the privilege to design and style a Retro Surf Party for a little girls birthday! I had so much fun planning and creating everything from scratch. Cupcakes were from Frosted Bakery, Cookies from SugarPalooza, and pretty much everything else! Kettle Corn was from Scott Barnes.  Photography was by Michelle Temple! Candyland

So this past weekend before I left on my trip, I was asked to make a party favor for a baby shower. The theme: Candyland! So, I made some game pieces from the original Candyland board game and made a custom label to go along with the theme! I just love how "sweet" they turned out! Enjoy! And go throw a party!!!!
