Under The Sea Inspired Girls Birthday Party

So my daughter has begged me for a while to have her party at Swim America. I hesitated for a long time until she turned 7! I had to give in, but I wasn't going to have a normal party. I had to put a SugarPalooza twist to it, making sure there was pretty cake (they provide cupcakes) and a candy buffet, and all the fun details a party should have! I was going simple, but then was inspired by the imprint-ables from B-Nute. I LOVE her work and had a blast creating from her creations! Make sure to visit her Etsy site, I linked it to the company's name above. We served the birthday girl's favorite food (Mac-n-Cheese and Strawberries), Sub Sandwhiches for adults with chips and water to drink and some juice cups (which Swim America provided)-Although buying a flat of water at $15.00 dollars is such a rip-off! Anyways, no outside liquids, so moms couldn't have a diet pepsi! Anyways, I digress.

What I LOVED about this table was the table cloth! Khrysten from Kent Designs made this for me and it really completed my table! Thanks!

Peacock Inspired Sweet 16 Birthday Dinner

I had so much fun designing centerpieces, candy buffet, and decorating the house for this Peacock inspired birthday dinner. The guest of honor couldn't be cuter, and her mom was a true Southern Bell. Loved working with everyone! The centerpieces were created with my good friend and mentor Peggy Jelmini. They were out of this world amazing! The party was both inside and outside and the family had a taco truck to keep everyone fed! It was a fabulous evening! Thanks!

This is Miss Peacock...a cupcake from Frosted!

All labels had a touch of sparkle!

These centerpiece was amazing! It was as tall as me...I'm 5'4!

Trying to capture the enormity of this centerpiece!

Vintage Hollywood Candy Buffet

This last weekend I had the pleasure of styling two events. This post is about the Vintage Hollywood Candy buffet inspired by Audrey Hepburn. Birthday girl was turning 40 and all guests came as an actor or actress from the old Hollywood. Colors were red, gold, white, and black...one very classy night!
